    Kreisler Industrial Corporation, a manufacturer of Aerospace assemblies, is looking for a CNC Machine Setup/Operator. This person operates CNC machines (lathes and milling) and conventional machines fabricate metallic parts by performing the following duties.

    CNC Machine Setup/Operator

     

    Responsibilities include:

    ·         Understand blueprints, job plans and operation instructions to assure parts are manufactured to specs

    ·         Grind own tooling

    ·         Measure workpiece using micrometer, vernier, and/or scale to determine piece is being made to specs

    ·         Starts and ovserves machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining

    ·         Inform Machine Shop Supervisor of all discrepancies

    ·         Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications

    ·         Fits and assembles parts into complete assembly

    ·         Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly Installs machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, and equipment, and tests operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance

    ·         Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems

    ·         Runs two or more machines at any one time

    ·         Writes and alters programs

    ·         Knowledge of single point threading

    ·         Performs all types of deburring

    ·         Knowledge of programming methods

    ·         Own basic tools needed

     

    Education and/or Experience:

    ·         Associate’s degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school; or six months similar experience and/or training

     

    Language Skills:

    ·         Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

    Manufacturing Assembler - Shop Floor Worker

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    ·         Looking for individuals that enjoy working with their hands

    ·         Manufacturing assemblers read instructions and assemble products or the different parts of products

    ·         After the completion of the assembling process, assemblers then move the pieces or the products to what is the next phase in the manufacturing process

    ·         They are expected to keep their work station organized and orderly, and make sure that production parts, tools, test equipment and documentation are properly stored and maintained

    ·         They must follow the targets and deadlines set for assembling, such as a particular number of units in a day

    ·         They must follow all the safety procedures, environmental guidelines and company rules and regulations while assembling

     

    Skills and Specifications

    ·         No experience required but must be eager to learn

    ·         Team work is extremely important in this line of work

    ·         Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English language

    ·         Will be required to work with tools such as sanders, cut saw and grinders

    ·         They need to have good manual dexterity and should be able to work with small, detailed objects

     

    Education

    Welder

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    ·         Positions parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks.

    ·         Select torch, torch tip and filler rod according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of metal

    ·         Connects regulator valves and hoses to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders, and welding torch.

    ·         Turns regulator valves to activate flow of gases, lights torch and adjusts gas mixture and pressure, to obtain desired flame.

    ·         Holds torch at proper angle to metal and guides along weld joint, applying filler road to molten area to form weld.

    ·         Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.

    ·         Repairs broken or cracked metal objects, fills holes, and builds up metal parts.

    ·         Preheats workpiece in furnace or with torch.

    ·         Lays out, positions, and tack welds workpieces.

    ·         Welds along vertical or overhead weld lines.

    ·         Scarfs or grooves weld prior to applying filler metal.

    ·         Chips or grinds off excess weld, slag, or spatter.

    ·         Cleans or degreases parts.

     

    Candidate must be able to weld up to .050 wall thickness and a diameter of ¼" to 3" tube. Experience with butt weld and seam welds. Experienced Welders Only.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must have training or experience with manual weld equipment.

     

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    ·         Employee must pass training and testing in order to obtain Company Qualification Card for "Welder".

    ·         While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

    ·         This job requires specific vision abilities in which an eye examination will be performed.
